However, the ever-present need for mental health awareness and the generosity from some of Canada’s finest musicians prompted us to host one virtual cross-Canada concert on World Suicide Prevention Day. All of the artists who have submitted videos for this cross-country concert that we are about to enjoy recorded them on lands that are more than their own, lands which are deeply rooted in first-nations traditions. We are all grateful to have the opportunity to work, to live, to meet and, especially, to make music on these beautiful lands.
